iPhone SIM Swapping

The following article outlines the steps to swap your current SIM card in your Apple iPhone with a new one

Important Notes:

• T-Mobile devices only
• Apple iPhones only

Instructions:

1. Turn off your device
2. With your device off, locate the SIM card removal tool (comes with iPhone). If this tool is not available, you may use a small paper clip or pushpin. A picture of the SIM card removal tool is shown below
   
3. With your SIM card removal tool, push it into the hole on the side of your phone. For more information regarding the location on your phone, please consult this article: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201337
4. With the SIM try pulled out, remove the old card and put it aside.
5. Place the new SIM card in the tray and insert it back into the iPhone. The SIM tray has an angled notch on it that must line up with the notch on the new SIM card

   NOTE: The SIM tray will only fit one way, please do not force it in and it should slide effortlessly back into place.

6. With the SIM card in the tray firmly closed, power on your phone 
7. Thats it! your new SIM has been successfully swapped and you are now able to use your phone.
